  • I have questions about lessons, schedules, availability, who should I contact? Please contact info@weswim.ca or fill in the contact us page request form.
  • What if my children are different ages and abilities? We can modify accordingly or may need a parent to join us in the water to make this option work but it is possible. Ideally the children are at the same level.
  • How long are the classes? 30 minutes in length
  • What ages do you teach? All Ages
  • Can I sit in the pool area and watch? Yes, all parents MUST stay to watch during the lessons of any children under the age of 16 years old.
  • What are my payment options? Payment is made via email transfer. 50% at the time of booking and 50% on the date of the first lesson.
  • How do I register? Contact us to sign up for registration emails to be notified of registration taking place. Fall registration takes place first week of August, Winter registration takes place end of November, Spring and Summer registration takes place end of February.
  • How do I know what level to register my child? We will access your child within the first few minutes of the lesson and be able to inform you of their level if you are unsure. We will meet their individual goals and adjust our teaching according to what their skill level is from that point forward.
  • If my child (or I) misses a swim lesson due to illness, an appointment or other reasons, can we have a make-up class? The policy is one makeup per session when 24 hours notice is provided. Additional requests can be made, but not guaranteed.
  • Do you cancel outdoor lessons during the rain? Outdoor lessons continue in the rain as the pool is heated to 90 degrees. Lessons are rescheduled if there is thunder and/or lightning.

  • After level 6, what comes next? Junior lifeguarding (Swimmer 7, 8, and 9) comes after swimmer 6. We can teach these levels as well. However, we do not teach Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross entirely. We can assist someone who is looking to complete certain skills in those levels but they are best done in a group setting in a large deep pool.
  • Can I change my swim schedule after the session has begun? Please make any schedule request changes in advance and requests will be made if possible, unfortunately requests will many changes are not guaranteed as we are holding the spot for you/your child.
