Splash Swimmer Levels
+ Splash A (Ages 3 to 5 years)
Participants will become more comfortable with the water and learn safety skills. They will enter the class willingly. These swimmers will be able to betowed on their back and front as well as breathing techniques and submerging their head under water on their own.
+ Splash B (Ages 3 to 5 years)
These swimmers will be away to move in water 2 ways, enter and exit the pool, submerge head for 3 seconds, perform rhythmic breathing three times, jump in with head under assisted, demonstrate assisted front tow with kicking, perform an assisted front glide relaxed for 3 seconds. They will also be able to float relaxed on their front for 3 seconds.
+ Splash C (Ages 3 to 5 years)
These swimmers will be able be jump in to unassisted, perform rhymthic breathing 5 times, perform front kicking with an aid for 3 seconds, demonstrate assisted kicking on their back. They will also be able to perform an unassisted front front and glide for 3 seconds. They will demonstrate back float and back glide assisted.
+ Splash A+ (Ages 3 to 5 years)
These participants will be able to open their eyes underwater, perform rhythmic breathing 7 times, glide on their front with kick for 3 seconds, kick on their back with an aid for 3 seconds. They will also be able to perform an assisted side glide and unassisted back glide. They will be introduce to the deep water and float on their back unassisted for 5 seconds.
+ Splash B+ (Ages 3 to 5 years)
These swimmers will be able to perform rhythmic breathing 10 times, front and back glide with kicking for 3 seconds, perform a side glide with an aid, demonstrate a rollover float back to front for 3 seconds. They will also be able to enter the deep water and perform front and back floats. In addition, they will perform an attempted over arm front swim for 5m.
+ Splash C+ (Ages 3 to 5 years)
These swimmers will perform rhythmic breathing in various ways 7 times, they will perform a rollover float back to front for 5 seconds, they will do a side glide with kick for 3m. They will perform surface support for 10 seconds. They will also perform front swim for 7m with one breath. They will jump in to deep water, swim 3m and change direction. In addition, they will perform a back swim for 5m.
